The Man and I.
Sunday, March 24 || 3/24/2013 11:08:00 AM
I was chatting with my friend about my primary school memories,
chasing those Taiwanese artists, dancing, Hip-Hopping,
And then I suddenly remembered about Wang Lee Hom.
I loved Big Bang, but sadly I have to say, I love Lee Hom more.
Like what people always say, " First Love is always the most unforgettable"
I guess that's my relationship with this man.
I remembered I first heard about him when I was in Standard 2,
That time I was crazy over him.
I even purposely went to Focus Point to get the paper bag which has his face printed on it.
Sadly, I accidentally spilled water on it and it was torn into pieces. ( sobs* )
This guy is my inspiration to sing too.
When I was in standard 1, I had trauma.
I was paranoid of singing on stage.
Thanks to the singing competition I totally screwed up.
I missed the beats, forget my lines. I was VERY nervous.
Then, I stopped singing, even if I sing, I will just sing to myself.
Until I heard about him and slowly I started singing his songs, and even started rapping thanks to his song " Gai Shi Ying Xiong "
He was my inspiration.
That man is so talented. Singing, Composing, Acting, Directing, Script Writing, he does everything!
He even donates 90% of his profit to charity while he uses 10% to produce his music.
Plus, he is really good looking ( chuckles* )
After getting in touch with English music and Kpop, I forgotten about the old Chinese music I use to listen.
Then, I realized that these Chinese music are actually the main reason why I even started singing.
Of course, I'm still looking for the right path I should go.
I don't know what lies in the future, but for now, I want to chase my dreams.
Recognition? I hope I could get that from the crowd, but I guess maybe I should just keep it to myself.
I still had that slight trauma when it comes to singing on stage, but I think I can overcome it. ( Maybe with a better microphone, unlike the school ones. Bleh xD )
Like what my idol, Lee Hom said, " put your time and energy into finding that unique quality which makes you a star or what makes your music worth listening to. "
One day, I will get my chance too. C:
Good night, and I love you, Lee hom~
